The specifications of my machine is

Intel® Celeron? 366MHz (w/128KB Cache) PPGA CPU
192MB SyncDRAM (up to 256 MB)
2 USB Ports (1 is on Front)
1 Serial / 1 Parallel / 3 Expansion Slot
Audio In & Out / Game Port on Front
Microsoft® Windows® 2000 Pro
ATI Rage Pro Turbo 2X AGP with 4MB SGRAM
Crystal CS4280 3D PCI Audio
40x Max. CD-ROM Drive
20GB HDD (Ultra DMA EIDE)
3.5" 1.44MB FDD
56K* ITU V.90 PCI Fax/Modem
PS/2 Keyboard/Mouse
Stereo Speakers
Dazzle Firewire Port Card

I need to add a 120GB Hard Disk to my machine. When I spoke to the
emachine service rep, one guy said that I can add and there would not
be any problem. The only problem would be the disk access would not be
133MHz but 66Mhz.

Another rep told me there is no way that I can add the Hard disk as it
is not supported.

I know that my BIOS does not support any Hard Disk above 30GB but I
have read in Maxtor site that I can install the software provided with
the Hard Disk for the system to recognize that 120 GB disk.

Can anyone help me and let me know if I can go ahead and add the Hard
Disk to my machine as I do not want to buy it and return it back.

Thanks,
