Can I hook up two computers to one monitor?

I have two computers that I want to hook up to one LCD Monitor. I want to be able to switch between the computers without having to plug and unplug the cables every time.

Is there a simple way to do this?

Short for Keyboard-Video-Mouse switch. Basically it enables you to control 2 computers with 1 monitor, kb and mouse, and switching between the 2 computers with either a button on the KVM or a keyboard shortcut.

What are you using it for? I use a little $10 cheapy from monoprice. Colors get washed out, but it's for servers so I don't really care if there is banding or odd colors.

I do that with mine at the moment, I have one hooked into the DVI and the other VGA.

get a KVM which supports USB mice/keyboards
