Can I hook up the Z560's to a DVD player?

Or are they limited to PCs? Im seriously considering upgrading my Labtec Pulse-424's. I mean damn, each of the z560 satellites is almost twice as powerful as my entire 2.1 set of 32W total. I have a SB X-Gamer live 5.1 sound card, so if I can't connect them directly to the DVD player, can I route them through the soundcard into the dvd player?

Well, I dont think you can Directly plug them in, since DVD players use Digital output, and the Z560s are analog. You would be able to use the analog stereo output, but you would not get true 4.1 then since the signal from the DVD would come out as 2.0. I think the Z560 has some sort of DSP, so it should sound good. I dont think the SBLive 5.1 is digital either, so you would end up having front and back channels the same if you routed it through that. IMO, the Z560s are really only truly good for a PC. If you want to integrate them into a Home theatre setup, you would be best off using a PC and TV Out to a bigger screen.
