Can I hook a WAP to a wireless router?

I have a Netgear wireless router and I'd like to hook up a Linksys WAP11 to it because I want more flexibility. Can I do this because I don't see how to turn off the wireless part of my router? Will the wireless section of the router interfere with my WAP11 at all?

Netgear makes many Wireless Router????

If they are both 802.11b it probably will not interfere. Set them to two different Channels.

Salv, dosnt the netgear have a section in its wireless settings to turn the radio off or something like that? to shut the wifi off?
