Basically what the title says. I would like to see two different wallpapers on both of my monitors. I was able to do that on my Geforce4 TI4200 but now that I upgraded I can not figure out how to do this. System specs are in my sig (it is the P4)

Thank You in advance
~Eric

Hey Eric,

Since I now have your old video card, can you tell me how to make two diff. wallpapers. I've wanted to know that, but didn't know it was possible.

Thanks,

Kaputnik

As far as I know, you can run two operating systems at the same time, if you pull it off right.

No I am not trying to run two operating systems. I have windows XP with a radeon 9700 and I was wondering how to have two wallpapers on my dual-display system with one operating system.

If they're the same res., paste them together in Photoshop or any image app. to create one big image. (like make a 2048x768 image with 2 1024x768 wallpapers)

Another option is to use a program called Ultramon. I really recommend it if you have 2 monitors, it has a lot of other cool features... http://www.realtimesoft.com/ultramon/

The problem is that they are not the same resolution or else i would have done that. One is 1024x768 and the other 800 x 600 because it is smaller. I will however look into that Ultramon program.

I have no idea about the two operating systems and I dont want to do it, Unfortunatly i dont understand Bachopoet's suggestion.

yes you can do it, my brother "theevil1" does it. its simple, he just right clicks properties like normal and whichever monitors desktop he is in that wallpaper changes, im not sure if he has the desktop extended over to the other monitor or what though that might make a difference

ok this is how i'm doing dual wallpaper.

saphire 9500 non pro 128mb card running 1024X768 extended desktop, 85hz on both displays.

with ms paint click edit then paste from and pick a 1024x768 .bmp

then pick one more and drag it til it's left edge is perfectly aligned with the right edge of the first picture.

save to C:\windows

now pick it for your wallpaper.

under Position select tile. (center or stretch won't work)

also found a free slideshow screensaver that i like here
