Ok, I know, everyone will say, "get PCIexpress." I understand why, but I'm not doing it yet, I have my reasons, and I have a great Radeon X1950PRO 512 AGP and I want to go up to Core 2 duo e6320. I am finding motherboards with AGP8x and 1066FSB but the best I can find is support for DDR2 533. I would really like DDR2 800. Anyone know of such a beast? I certainly don't mind the 533, but if I can have the 800, then why not huh? Thanks.

Asrock 4coredual VSTA or SATA2, they both have support for DDR2-667....and a PCI-E graphics slot as well as AGP 8x

As Stumps said, there is only the asrock 4coredual-vsta/sata2 boards that offer this.

It runs ddr2@667 but will take ddr2-800 modules and run them at ddr2-667, so you have scope for upgrading in future.

It also takes 1333MHz cpus but again runs them at 1066 bus and it takes quad cpus.

However going PCI-E isnt a bad idea at this time with the HD 3850 cards coming out. These are faster than the x1950pro, around the speed of a 2900XT. However they cost around £105 / $US200.

Sell the x1950pro and grab the hd3850 ( if you want to stay ati ). It is something I am considering in the very near future before the cost of the agp x1950 used drops too low. (there is going to be an agp version of the hd3850 rendering the x1950pro obselete and may have no resale value. )
