mon has DP port

I connect it with the DP cable. It connect to display just fine.

My question is,,, I ordered a male DP converter to HDMI , Am I not 4k ?

A mini HDMI would connect to my card,,

so I got a DP to HDMI to mini hdmi into my card.

Will that bring is there a DP add on..... Or am I screwed until I buy a more recent monitor. 🙁
 
You cannot convert HDMI to DP. If you want DP, you need a video card that offers DP natively.

Might as well upgrade my 560 Ti . Grab a 760 Ti

what yall think, Ill be gaming @ 1920res But does 760 Ti have displayPort ?
 
I checked EVGA 760 Ti for 309.99 free shipping but comes to 294.99 ,, Im about to buy it,, cuz your video card has to be displayPort ,,,,,,, so I can go directly from mon to video card then I can enjoy 4K and what not...

You have to check the individual model. Most higher-end cards have DisplayPort, but it's not absolutely guaranteed. Newegg is good about helping you filter for cards with DisplayPort.
