Can I go back ?

I have an Asus P5N-D motherboard. I started with a Q6600 and the bought the 9450.
Windows and the bios recognized the CPU but I got a " Bios update needed " message
during post and had to press F1 to continue on. I updated the bios to the latest version
at the time, 0502, and have had overclocking issues ever since. The shipping version,
0107, allowed me to overclock the FSB. Now, even after another update to version
0601 I can increase the FSB but after a save and exit back into windows XP I go
back into the bios and the FBS defaults to 1333. I'm wondering if it is possible
to revert back to the original bios version. It is not offered as a download from
Asus. Someone said the original shipping version is on the cd that came with the
board and it was possible to create a bios boot floppy from it. Is this true and if so
how would I go about doing it.
