Can i ghost 120 gigs using a dvd-rw? @UPDATE@

I only have 8 dvdrws and am thinking about getting ghost from best buy so i can format my drive. I had some problems with ghost in the past and really cant afford to lose this data. Thanks for any suggestions.

I talked to a techie guy at work and he said that i cant use my dvdrw drive unless i ghost an image (i have three partitions and just need to save one big one) to the hard drive and then use nero to burn it on a dvdrw disk...... Can anyone confirm this?

The latest version of Ghost can write to a DVD+/-RW drive directly, according to their website.

You can use Nortons Ghost to copy the partition of a drive(make a copy of the drives partition where there is data stored on the disk, not the whole drive) and copy that image to another partition you've created on your hard drive.
