i know i posted before but didnt get alot of feed back

this is my set up

A64 3200 NC
ASUS K8N-E Deluxe
Geil PC3200 1Gb Value Ram
Zalman 7000Cu

i want to hit around 2.5Ghz---possibly 2.6Ghz if possible, i can easy reach 2.4Ghz,(my FSB and RAM are at 220Mhz so i know my RAM can cope with a 10% oc)

i need dividers explaining to me. at the moment as i jus updated bios the other week its been reading my rams SPD wrong...setting it at 133 with 2-6-6-7 timmings. so its manually set to 200 @ 2.5-4-4-8

when i chose manual settings i have 200, 266, 333, and 400 to chose from. i have it set @ 400 (ie 200mhz) now when i move my FSB the ram speed follows at the same rate....does this mean then setting of 400 is a 1:1 divider? so what would be 333? i dont think 333 fits a 5:4 ratio. 266 is a 3:2 ratio ?

am i right?

so any way, i have control of HT multiplier, FSB speed, RAM timings and Dividers, CPU mulitplier from x11 down ward

so if 333 is the 5:4 ratio (can some one confirm>?) then can i do this

set ram to 333
set fsb to 250
set cpu multi to 10
set HT multi to 3
?

On the NF3 chipset, RAM dividers are notated as 200 or 400 for stock (depending on whether they pre-double the number or not). The 166 setting acts like a 5:6 divider (166/200 = 0.83 = 5/6), the 133, 2:3, and the 100, 1:2.

so i can set the ram to 333, then the fsb to 240, and that will have my ram running 200mhz, and then a 11x240 (maybe i can do half mulitpiliers i ll have to check) will give 2.64Ghz

i heard something about SATA ports though. i have my drives plugged into sata 1 and sata 2 on the NF3. i do have the silicon image sata/raid controller also but nothing is plugged into it.

so im gonna have to install the silicon image drivers? i dont want raid just 2 hard drives. is the performance just as good?
