Can I get rid of my floppy drive in "My Computer"

I physically do not have a 3.5" floppy drive connected to my motherboard, but on "My Computer" or "Windows Explorer" it still is there. Is there a way to make it disappear?

You can probably go into the Device Manager and disable the floppy drive or the Floppy Drive Controller.

Go into the bios and turn off the floppy controller, that way xp does not even load it
