Cops won't do anything... 20-30 people, they'll just tell you guys to keep it down or that everyone has to leave or else tickets'll be issued. I've been to a couple of parties where cops came in, smoking/drinking going on, they just said we have to leave or they'll start giving tickets or whatever...

You can get charged with contributing to minor delinquincy or something like that if the cop is a real asshole.

You gotta love those people who move to a college town and then get pissed when the college students do what any normal person expects college students to do.

Where I went, the "residents" would bitch and bitch about the college students having parties and drinking and being noisy, etc. Interestingly, my school is not well-known for being a "party school" and the wildest parties I went to would be counted as tame by a bigger school's reckoning.
The best part was reading in the paper: "I've been a resident here for 10 years and I'm tired how these college students came in here and the property value falls..."
Except that the college has been in its present location since the 1930s, so if you've only lived there for 10 years, THE COLLEGE WAS THERE FIRST, IDIOT! You should have thought of this when you moved across the street from a bustling college campus!
