A person gets an app that logs my keystrokes and sends them to him, thus getting all my passwords, instant messaging coversations and whatnot?

if so, how would i go about searchign for an app like this so I can remove it?
I've looked for stuff in MSCONFIG...i'm runnign Win 98.

Any good virus program should be able to pick it up even if it isnt a "traditional" virus.

could be in registry ie the windows\currentversion\run or runonce or runonceex.. also ift can be call anything.. doesn't have to be call keystrokelogger.exe or whatever.. could be like system.dll
