Can I get a replacement for a dead AOpen CDRW?

My Aopen 1232a CDRW (12x burner) recently croaked on me after 6 months of use .... (I will never buy an Aopen product again)

Does anyone have any experience with getting replacements from Aopen? Do they even provide replacements?

I am asking because I couldn't find any warranty papers in the manual or the RETAIL box in which this turd came in.
