Can I get a little A64/DFI/HyperX oc help?

I have a DFI lanparty 250gb
A64 3000+ s754
enermax 431 power supply
6800gt
1gb Pc3500 HyperX ram


I just sold my patriot 512 Pc3200 XBL and got some of this HyperX crap.

The ddr400 Patrtiot ram would run 235 FSB easily

I started the hyperX out at 220fsbX10 now Im at 235x10 But I get aqumark crashes and a few bsod'.

Temps now are 29c 42 load

1.65 Vcore
2.9 Vdimm
2.5,3,3,10

Would YOu sugest that my cpu's limit just may be 2350mhz?


And BTW, the guy I got this chip from had his running at 2.6ghz on water. Maybe my temps are just inaacurate and thats why Im getting instability.

Okay, I got it at 3.0 vdimm 1.65vcore

290fsbx8 2.32 ghz

timings 3,4,3,10
ram fsb at 232 180 divider setting in dram settings

passed 3dmark03 and aquamark no crashing. (prime 95 to come if these are worthwhile settings?)

9x multi and then up the fsb.... mayeb the guy before had diff ram or mobo

also, he sold the mobo and cpu to me togetehr and used the same ram brand but not same sticks.

he reccoemnded the patriot to me.
