I accidently broke a pin out of a VGA connector on a monitor while trying to straighten some bent pins, and now it won't display green. Is there any way I can repair the pin or replace the VGA cord or something?

Thanks!

If the connector isn't molded, you should be able to remove the broken pin and crimp a new one to the cable. You may need a special tool to remove and insert pins, but Radio Shack and Fry's has it.

You can always cut off the cable and solder a new connector, either the crimp type or solder type.

Where can I get instructions on how to do these things? And also, how can I tell if it's molded or not? I'm not 100% sure I know how to tell.
