so i was reading this article where a kid got racially profiled at USC. his actress mother is now going to send him to a historically black college or university. this got me thinking 'hey ive never been to an HBCU. Would they accept me if i applied, even though im not african/american?'

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ically-black-college-s-racially-profiled.html

i cant decide which one id apply to. my choice in order would be:
Spelman College
Morehouse College
Tuskegee U.
Howard U.

Would they accept you? No, but that has nothing to do with the color of your skin. Do historically black colleges deny admissions based on race? No. I actually know a white female that go into Prairie View A&M because she was denied to Texas A&M. She actually then asked to be transferred to Texas A&M and the school actually accepted that, but that is another story.

College admission should be completely anonymous and based off nothing other than merit.

Tuition prices should be based off of ability to pay. I.E. a percentage of salary.

There should never be a situation where someone is denied college based on race, hair color, skin color, or ability to pay.

That said, I also strongly disagree that everyone is entitled to go to college and that it is the right decision for everyone to pursue a college education.
