can I drag content from a page in firefox?

I'm trying to use OneNote, but I can't drag content from a page in firefox into onenote, the way you can with IE. in firefox, I can't even drag selected stuff at all because the cursor stays an I-beam
 
I have no problems dragging stuff from Firefox into OpenNote.

When dragging selected content, the cursor will stay an I-beam at first, but if you keep dragging, it will change.
