can I do anything interesting with 2 network cards?

Hi all,

I'm here on a high speed academic network, and I've just received an extra pci ethernet 10/100 card for my computer. Is there anything interesting I can do with this? My computer sometimes is used as a workgroup server -- would a second card be useful? Would my computer have two ip addresses then, one incoming, one outgoing? Or how would that work?

If you can get 2 rj45 jacks to the campus internet,hook them both up for more bandwith.
