Can I (CSS question)

Can I make steam believe that Winamp is really my mic, so I can play music on some servers? .

I don?t know of any software that would let you do that off the top of my head but you could pick up a male-to-male type audio cable from radio shack and plug your audio output into your mic input.

Although I?m kind of wondering if that would cause any feedback issues. I don?t think it will if the mic playback (output) is muted.

Also, might want some type of audio cable splitter so you can still keep your speakers hooked up.

Just a thought.

More or less. It won't sound as good, but CSS voice sounds pretty bad as it is.

Can't you just loop the output from your speaker-out back into the mic? Don't know if they have cables with earphone jacks on both ends, but shouldn't be difficult to splice one together....
