Ok, i installed XP and i said to convert to NTFS. Well every thing is setup and i now realize that it's still FAT32. Yipes!!! So is there a way i can convert to NTFS without messing up everything? If so how? oh, i don't have partition magic, so i can't use that.

from the command prompt, convert c: /fs:ntfs... It'll ask about unmounting the drive, tell it no. Then it'll ask if it should convert at the next startup, tell it yes. Then reboot, and it should begin.

ok, when installed XP it said i was missing a file "autoconv.exe" i told it to try again, and it still couldn't get it. so then i told it to ignore it. I haven't notice anything wrong with xp without this file. So aftwards, i did what perry said and after i said yes to convert when i restart it gives me this:

Could not find file C:\WINDOWS\Systerm32\AUTOCONV.EXE
Make sure that the required file exists and try again.
Could not schedule an automatic conversion of the drive.

Uhh so i guess i need that file. Does anybody have that particular file? Could you pm me?
