Can I configure a D-Link 614+ as a wireless repeater?

I just replaced my D-Link 614+ with a Netgear MR814 because I had had connection stability problems with the D-Link. Those have been worked out now, but my wireless range is still not as far as I'd like. I was wondering, since the 614+ is now sitting idle, could it be configured as an 802.11b Repeater, effectively extended the range of the other router? Thanks for any help offered.
