I'm wanting to buy a toy off Amazon, being offered by TRU, with an Amazon gift certificate.

That'll work, right?

(I don't have the certificate yet, so I can't read any of the fine-print/conditions)

The way the certs worked last year you couldn't use them with affiliate companies.
(assuming you are talking about amex)

Edit: But I guess you aren't, cause you wouldn't have called that a gift cert. Sorry, nothing to see here...

Used to be you couldn't use them for anything not sold by Amazon itsself. After reading what you posted, looks like you can from TRU

That's what my certificate says, too. I see no reason you can't purchase the TRU merchandise. Have fun.
