oh, I thought you were blowing a breaker at -15 db.

nevermind.

I keep it around 0 when I home. +10 when I want it really loud.

i don't think my reciever goes into positives...dunno, never had the balls to turn it up that loud :p

i think it means decibals below maximum output, but i'm not sure...

I've had mine up at 0 for a couple movies that were a bit quieter than normal, but I usually stick to -10 or lower for HT and well below that for music (-20 to -40 depending)

i'll find something...right now my next purchases are a remote extender so i can control the htpc from upstairs...also probably gonna set up survellience camera in and around my house...then i need a new reciver for upstairs...then i can worry about a remote :p
