thanks. can I make the ssd as the primary hdd to get the speed out of it? Would I have to replace the regular hdd or can I just add the ssd?
Most desktops can handle 4-6 drives.
You can put them in any order you want. Many people install Windows and Programs on the SSD and then data on the slower, larger drive.
Get an SSD for which there is cloning software as part of the purchase, or check this out.all I need is cloneware to get windows on the ssd from the old drive without buying another windows cd. Can anyone confirm this?
