Can I add a discreet videocard to this system?

This system is better than the current one I want to replace except the IGP is a measly NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE which scores 55 in Passmark GPU list versus the Mobility Radeon HD 2400 in the current system (which scores 103).

Would I be able to add in a discreet videocard to this motherboard that would be faster than a Mobility Radeon HD 2400? If so what would be the cheapest option?

It has a PCI-Ex16 slot, but only a 250W power supply. Kind of limits you without replacing it. What are you going to use it for after a GPU upgrade?

hd5670 is your best choice. 10x faster then what you have.

Of course you can add a videocard (and without upgrading the psu). I usually suggest the GT240. The 5670 is a little bit faster but usually sell for $80 or so. I've seen the GT240 for $40 (after rebate) many times (including EVGA versions) and sometimes they come with game bundles like Street Fighter 4/Shattered Horizons.
