Can HDD Defrag damage it , if Defrag takes 6-8 hours ?

NTFS is an abomination. Every fricking new OS release they promise us a new FS and they never do. I wish there were some competition in the home OS market.

As for defrag, just keep the drive cool and you should be okay.
