OK..i been sitting at my desk...and the last 3 days...
this small fly...looks like any household/kitchen fly...been
buzzing and mucking around me...
and today i felt 'zzz..ZZz..zzz' right behind my neck, itchy and all..
so i kinda swatted the back of my neck...next min...i felt kinda
sore, and irritable at the spot and now touching it i feel a small bump..
like a pimple...kinda sore/painful when u touch it...surrounding area too..

so did i get stung by a fly?

Yup. Fly semen is very poisonous. That's why the female fly dies after laying the eggs. Fortunately, it's a very small quantity that got 'fapped' as gopunk so eloquently stated.

flies dont bite really, but everytime they land, they land to crap. its a true fact, so dont ever let them land on you or your food, becuase they poop on it and they have been through everything

Too late, you're doomed. It already laid its eggs in your neck. When the larvae hatch they will eat their way up your spinal cord and take over your brain. That is of course presuming you have one.

Horseflies bite...but they are big fuckers.

Black flies don't bite or sting.

They do puke or crap or something like that on anything they land on though.

Might be some kinda of mild allergic reaction to the fly puke...

This reminds me of my experience--being chased by dozens of horse flies in a valley, running like crazy--

Don't forget to see the movie: The Fly.

You have been stung by the pimple fly! Run don't walk to your nearest ER and get a vaccine quickly!

Interesting tidbit on female black flies:
The adult females suck blood mainly during daylight hours and are not host specific.
Funny how females of our species exhibit similar characteristics.
