can electric razor blades go dull?

I have one of those norelco razors with the circular blades. lately it's been seeming really dull. are they supposed to go dull, and where do I buy replace ones?

yes the go dull. replace them ~4-6 months

dpending on what razor it is you can get most at walmart. others you can order from teh company themself

Yep, they can go dull. You can usually get replacements where you bought the razor... Walmart, Meijer, Best Buy... You may also need to replace the screens (sometimes called heads).

I have a Norelco Advantage, they recommend to replace the blades every year.

I usually replace mine every year, however, it's been a year and a half on the current set w/out any problems.

I'm almost 40 and a cat could lick my whiskers off.
So mine is several years old with no need to change the blades, yet.
Usually the battery dies before I need to change blades

Yes, they do go dull. And you can usually get replacements at drug stores and some department stores.

Brauns go dull for sure. Plus, if the foil gets broken, you'll end up with all these micro-incisions on your face. Not pretty. :)

My Panasonic Wet/Dry's have been pretty good. I've gone 3 years plus without having to replace any of the parts. The best thing about it I found out is if the battery goes bad, you can replace it easily with 2 standard NiCd AA batteries.

There is no such thing as a blade that never gets dull with use.

Cleaning the blades once in a while helps too.
