Can Dell Optiplex GX5200 take PC6400?

I have Dell Optiplex GX520 and it has PC5300 memory card when came from Dell. Can this computer take 4GB PC2-6400 DDR2 Dual Channel Kit?
Is PC6400 compatible with this PC?

Are there any benefits of putting PC6400?

Thanks

Check the specs for your machine, either in your manual or on Dell's site. They should tell you the maximum speed at which the motherboard will run your RAM. If you use faster RAM than that, it will probably just run, but it will only run at the fastest speed avaliable for your machine.

I belive the I945G series chipset is used in these (I have one at work) I know mine came w/ 512mb of PC 4200 (533) hynix and I replaced it w/ 2x 1gb of Crucial ddr 5300 (667) I belive the chipset will support ddr 800 but it may just down clock it to the max supported speed in the bios. this is w/ a 800mhz fsb P4 631
