Can cell phones make computers reboot?

this weird thing happaned, my cell phone was on top of my computer and then it rang and at the same second the computer rebooted for no reason at all

I would chalk that one up to coincidence. I've been leaving cell phones on and around computers for years and never once has the ringing rebooting any computer. Check your event logs 🙂

Put it back on top and dial it again. See if it reboots. 😀
If it does ..... think about what that EM field (spike/surge whatever) is doing to your brain

not sure about making it reboot, but i know it makes my monitor fuzz out. maybe it vibrated and shook the power cord loose? hehe.

If I leave my cell phone by my computer, my speakers will make a funny noise, but that's about it. Probably coincidence on the reboot.

Ditto, my klipsch speakers make a funny noise when I'm in a call.
