Can CDRW Drives use CDR media??

Seems like all you can buy now are CDRW's.

I use the burner to archive data and it needs to not be able to be overwritten. Is that really a problem with a CDRW?

thanks.

yes of course you can. You can't not...

A CDRW drive is rated at for exmaple 8x8x24

That's CDR Speed / CDRW Speed / Read Speed

You can't get a drive that does *only* CDRWs, all CDRW capable drives do CDRs as well.
