get a MSI 6905

set voltage to 1.8 or 1.85 V

set CPU override, coppermine 256k, 100fsb

boot. if it flies you got a good chip, if not up the voltage to 1.9v and try
again.

if not, you got a bad chip.

that simple.

I think i'm gonna sell my 633@950 (kit GORB/MSI) real soon on forsale forum

i have mention before already. this c566 is working good on my abit bh6 @850, 1.9v.
all i want to make sure is the cheapy m/b that support up to 8x will run this c566@850 if i use msi, iwill or abit slotkets.

Forget about the multiplier if you set it to 1 it wil still use 8.5. MULTIPLIER IS OVERIDED BY THE CPU IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT THE MAX IS IN YOUR BIOS.

i hit like 920 with my 533 once. but it wasn't stable at all. dont remember what the fsb was at, but i know i had the voltage at like 1.85.
