Can by abit is7 run without a chipset fan?

The chipset fan fell off of the motherboard today . I was using the computer and heard a clank and opened the case... the fan was sitting on my Radeon 9700 . Looks like it was held by two hooks on either side of the chipset and one of the hooks fell out so that fan came off.

Would it be dangerous to run it without the fan? I am overclocking anything.

Just without the fan or without the fan AND heatsink? It should be fine with just the heatsink.

Fan and heatsink in one fan works just no way to attach it to the mobo without ordering thermal paste w/ glue.
