Can ARCTIC COOLING NV SILENCER 5 REV. 2 VGA COOLER be used with 7900GT?

i think only a Rev 3 would work

I know Rev. 2 works with the 7800GT as I use one.

The mounting holes are the same so it will bolt up, i have the original nv5 silencer and it looks like it should clear the capacitors.
The only problem is that you'll need to use a hacksaw and shorten it
The 7800gt/gtx pcb is the same length, unfortunatly the 7900gt has a shorter pcb so the silencer sticks out a bit. Like i said, a hacksaw will fix the problem.

Do it up and post pics shabby. I have a 7900GT on the way and I want to put a silencer on it. If it works for you then I can go ahead and buy one ahead of time.

Hmm, this thing is even shorter than my 6800GT PCI-e. More free room in my enclosure!!
