I see several sites here in New Zealand now have a 12gb DDR3 kit for about $100, which is US$67. Aside from if it's some sort of scam, I was wondering if there might be known issues with it or something?
Kingston ValueRam 12GB 1333MHz DDR3 ECC Reg w/Par
Vendor Code: KVR1333D3D4R9SK3/12GI
CL9 DIMM (Kit of 3) Dual Rank, x4 w/TS Intel Valid
To compare, I see the same store also has this for about 6 times the price...
Kingston ValueRam 12GB 1066MHz DDR3 ECC Reg CL7 DI
Vendor Code: KVR1333D3D4R9SK2/8GI
DIMM (Kit of 3) Dual Rank, x4 w/Thm Sen Intel Validated
I wonder if the CL9 and CL7 have anything to do with it?
Thanks!
