yeah, there is single player in ut2k3. i know i have a lot of time. my summmer break a 3+ months long

The first one is good too, but quite a step back in graphics quality. The latest one had very nice graphics IMO and was a good fps.

I would have said Return To Castle Wolfenstein but you already played it. You could still get seriously old school and play Wolfenstein 3D....

Not to mension all the Half Life clones like Blue Shift, etc. That's probably about... a day of playing if you play them all one after another. They're all too easy.
The guy already said that his cable connection sucks. If he can't play freaking counterstrike, he can't play BF1942.
I agree with you that BF1942 is more of a multiplayer game, but sometimes you just have to take whatever you can
That's what I'm having to do. I love that game, but it has without a doubt the buggiest netcode I've seen on a major game. I can play single player all day, but it crashes back to my desktop all the time if I play multiplayer. I've gone through every troubleshooting scenario and fix imaginable and it still does it. Now it's doing it on my work computer too, which is the one system that it still ran on. Oh well. Single player's alright, but nowhere near as much fun.
