Hello, all. My birthday is coming up, and I'm hoping that my parents will buy me a Adaptec SCSI Card 29160N. Can anyone suggest some appropriate hardware (hard drive, CD-ROM, etc.) that should go with it? The hard drive is the most important thing for me at the moment. I don't care as much for RPMs/seek time as I do for reliability. I am running a FreeBSD server, and want more than one hard drive. Links are appreciated.
Thanks.

get two seagate x15-36lp's. fastest drives on the market right now. very expensive and hard to find though.

or you could get two Quantum Atlas III 10ks. latest version of thier very good Atlas II 10k drive. in the local fry's ad for $199 for 18gigs.

best would be an aproximate price range, as there are basicly 3 grades of scsi hard drives to chose from. (7.2k, 10k, and 15k rpm)
