instead of getting a dedicated print server, i think i'll just make an OLD pc one.

so, do these things still work well with a modern OS. win98 or w2k only, i don't do linux, yet. preferably win98, since w2k sucks.
 
i have a cheeesy one i bought years ago..i can get you the manufacturer if you really want to know..

it works pretty well..it's just an old ISA one....i've used it successfully in both win95/98/ and win2k.

you shouldn't have any problems buying a cheapo one...they're pretty simple and reliable
