Can anyone recommend a good electric, cordless lawnmower?

I'm looking to go cordless for my yard equipment and I want to start off with my push mower. I have $200 in Amazon certificates that I can use and would like to find a decent one for under $350.

Does anyone have any experiences with cordless mowers -- please share your insight.

I've been personally looking at this one:

I considered an electric cordless as well.

I checked several local places for info on different brands but I kept getting the same types of answers:

Overall weaker than gas powered
Performance degrades as the battery loses power
You have to replace the batteries eventually

So I went with a Toro recycler midrange model. I'll wait until the technology improves on cordless.

I considered a battery powered lawnmower but ended up buying a gas powered. I have about 2.000 square meters, and nothing on the market could do that in less than three or four charges - and extra batteries cost as much as the mowers.

IMO, there are none that meet your requirements of:
1) Good
2) Electric/Cordless

See Via's post below for the reasons why:

Even the corded models aren't great. Less power than a gas-powered mower and ONLY push models available, no self-propelled units.

The only one I've ever even hard of is the newton lawn mower.

Girl has one. It works decently well, of course no where near as well as a gas lawn mower. If OP has a very small yard it's a good option. But if the grass gets too tall the electric mower just doesn't have the power to cut it.

I used to own a cordless mower, but found it annoyingly heavy. My lot is about 1/9th acre and slopes in the back yard, so it was not fun to use. And I had to replace the battery after a few years.

After using a SP gas mower for a couple of years, I switched to a CORDED electric mower and it's been great. It's a refurbished Black & Decker bought from a B&D outlet store. Very light weight and very low maintenance. In fact, zero maintenance! I use a 100' extension cord and it only took me 2 or 3 uses to get used to maneuvering with the cord.

It's great to be able to mow early in the morning without disturbing the neighbors.

How big is your yard? If it is not massive, just go electric corded. You just need to learn how to mow without having to tow the line.

battery life is a problem. I'll charge my batt's overnight for my weed whipper but it'll run for only 1/2 hr. so I charge two batts for one hr of work. battery technology is still in the stone age.

I'll ask you what I asked my coworker when he tried to convince me to buy an electric cordless mower cause he has one. Do you plan on making pffft pffft motor noises while mowing your hard to make it seem more manly?

scott's reel mower here. Works great on my St. Augustine.

The main advantage of non-gas is mostly noise and fumes. It's not about saving money really.

CleanAirGardening.com has some nice machines.

I use an old school push reel, but you have to mow more. And it doesn't like a couple of types of grass, so do you homework first, if considering one.

Posted while I was mulling mine over. I have the same one, and I like it, but keep an eye on the part where the handle attaches, my first one broke there after about 40 mows. I am going to get one with Flame hardened, welded steel blades that needs much less frequent sharpening and has a better build quality. Maybe a Brill Razorcut 33

What are the advantages of electric over gas besides noise?

And I'm guessing they are also lighter and easier to maintain, and probably handle sitting for a long time without use much better. I haven't had a gas mower since I was a kid tho, but love my electric.
