Can anyone name any alternatives to Abercrombie and American eagle?

All I buy is Old Navy. They're decently priced and last a while, plus they're comfortable, not to mention they have clothes that fit my 6'6" frame ;)

It's like buying a polo shirt from Kohl's and then buying a Polo brand Polo shirt. There's a huge comfort difference.

I grew out of A&F before Hollister and Aeropostale' so I can't really tell ya. Have you looked into Buckle at all? They have a lot of pretty cool t-shirts and some really nice (Lucky + others) jeans.

When you say they're more comfortable, do you mean the fabric feels nicer, or the cut is more comfortable? I always wear an undershirt, so the fabric doesn't matter much to me.

The comfort factor to me is more noticeable in their pants. I swear that any jeans I ever bought from them back when I was in college were the most comfortable I could find in that price range at the time. I felt like I was wearing khakis when I was wearing them.

The button-up shirts just held up better for me from A&F. I guess the material was more sturdy and they held a press a lot better than shirts from places like AE. I never could get the collars on AE shirts to stay in place for some reason and I think it's because the shirts were always just a little thinner than the AF ones.

This is all from personal recollection really as I haven't worn A&F since I was in college about 5 years ago. I tend to shop more at the department store I work for and Express/J Crew now.

*EDIT* I do own a couple of the new A&F button-ups with the colored moose logos though.
