Can anyone make, or know where to find what it is I need?

Here is my dilemma. I am running 2 computers, one has windows 10, the other xp, and Im toying with the notion of making a windows 98 rig as well. But for the time being, Im running just 2. The problem I have is both computers have 7.1 analog out, which I need to use on both, when playing games for not all sound will produce that over a digital output line, so it must be analog. I dont mind analog, its fine for me, works great. Problem is, I bought another Sony hometheater unit, that unlike the one I have now, has but one 7.1 in, along with hdmi, which works even better for me, to have more hdmi inputs to have, but in doing so, with my old one, which I am giving to my oldest for his set up, has a set of 5.1 and 7.1 inputs, but no hdmi.

So the problem I am faced with it, now I got to take 2 seperate 7.1 analog outputs, and put them into one input, without having to unhook and hook back up depending on which one it is I will be gaming on. Right now I have a old composite switch that is taking both front and rear right and left in, and putting the outs of it to my Sony. Then I have a composite switch I am using to take the Side surrounds in from both pcs, and its outs going to the side for the sony, and then I am using a 2x rca to one set out for the center and sub going to the sony.

Why all the switches to perform all this? well, rgb r/w os only but 5 rca's, to do 7.1 you need 8! So I had to take all the switches I had laying around, so I can make 8 of them, thats switchable, so all in #1 with 2 switches, and selection A on the other, does my windows 10, then switch over to #2, and b, and it does my windows xp rig. I cannot for the life of me find ANY switch, that has 2 sets of 8 rca ins, and one set out, that I can just hit one set of switches, rather then the 3 I am using to make all of this work. So to be clear, it has to have at min or 8 rca in, not 8 sets of red white and yellow, across 8 different inputs, it has to take 8 rca inputs at one time, and spit that 8 back out, between another set of 8 that will do the same, so 2 buttons, with 8 each, not 8 buttons with either composite, or component for the 8 buttons.

I used that pic as an example, but as you can see, need 8 in x 2 (would love to have 3), and 1x out, but it needs to fire up all 8 rca's at the same time, for each input, and output all 8 as well, so I can run the 7.1.

So anyone know where I can buy a switch like that, or know of a way to make something like this for me, and how much it will cost to do so?

TIA!!!!!

If there is a way I can do 4 3.5mm in on each side, with 4 3.5mm out I can use a 3.5mm to rca cable to go from the out to my Sony, will work too 😉

in a perfect world, Id love to run a virtual xp hard drive section on my main rig, reason I cannot is because they dont make a XP driver for a 5700XT, hence why Im stuck having to had to make 2 different rigs to play my games on.

You can build it easy enough. Or just use three of the switch you linked.

I don't think any company will bother with an 8 channel audio switch. Not enough of a market since everyone have moved to hdmi.

Which is a shame, because there still are games you buy to this day that are modern that will only sound right if analog is used, UNLESS, like Star Wars Fallen Order, where you can select it in the audio section what you have hooked up and using, for if not, you either have to use analog, like I do, or set your receiver for Dolby Pro Logic, or it will output in stereo only. And it ticks me off to no end, that unless you buy some logitech speakers, like the z5500 for example, that has dedicated analog inputs, people like me that use home theater receivers and bad butt speakers to go with it, cannot buy ANY 4k receiver that has 7.1 analog inputs, strictly pre-outs, which forces me to have to use 2 receivers, one that has either 1080P HDMI, that some still had it with HDMI and 7.1 analog in, or one without ANY HDMI, and still has the Analog inputs, and then I have to run out of it, to my 4K Onkyo, and use it to upscale the 1080P signal, or dvd/laser disc (yeah I still have and watch that), up to $k the best it can to my 4K tv. But my main rig, and XP rig, all do the analog, and you dont "have" to have HDMI to decode movies, and some games into 7.1, most tv's have spdif out to go to a older receiver, most PC audio cards have that as well to go to a old receiver, its just if you want TRUE 7.1 in games, like 99% of them, you cannot use HDMI or SPDIF, it must be analog. So for there NOT to be a market for it, I beg to differ, for I cannot be the only one that still games on stuff between win 95 to today, that still uses a old receiver, for yeah, the Z5500 is one bad mofo of a unit, I had one back in the day, but to me nothing beats massive RMS power, large tower speakers, with matching stuff all around be, then what my Z5500 did, it was good, but no where near as good as what I have now I have put together over the years.

There's not much of a market for switching that many analog channels at once. There are some modern receivers that still maintain analog 7.1 inputs (Denon and Marantz do, or did only a couple years ago), but it's only 1 set. Not sure if there have ever been any with multiple sets, though wouldn't surprise me if there were a couple right before digital started to take off.

The newer PC shouldn't need to use analog outputs. You can carry 7.1 PCM over HDMI, saving a set of inputs and only need to switch between the analog sets of inputs from the older PC and the laser disc.

Zektor used to make a switch that would work - the MAS7.1 with 3 sets of inputs. Might be able to find one on ebay, or maybe a place like Audiogon, though still might be pricey. I looked to see if Extron ever had one but couldn't find anything. Pro-level hardware makers like that are probably going to be where you can find something like that. Was never really a need for the consumer market. At this point you're going to have to search the used market or build it yourself to get what you need.

In the pro audio world, we have used the standard set by the Tascam DA-88, and used DB25 cables for carrying 8 channels of audio. DB25 manual switch boxes are dirt cheap, and the 25 shielded pins in the DB25 cable is nearly perfect for the 24 hot / cold / ground connections 8 channel audio carries.

The biggest cost is those snake breakouts (DB25 to XLR, TRS, or RCA). DB25 to RCA would be the least common, because they were the least professional, but sometimes you can find used snakes for a decent price. I would recommend the DB25 to TRS, as they're pretty common, and should be interchangeable among brands as long as they adhere to the DA-88 standard (leave pin 13 unused, wire channels 1-8 in triangle formation down the connector). Below is an example of what I'm talking about:

Get a bunch of cheap TRS 1/4" to RCA adapters, like from Monoprice:

Then find an old DB25 manual switcher. They'll be old looking, yellowed as a relic from the 90's, but you can find 4 port switchers for less than $20. See this for example:

Again, your snakes are going to cost you $50 per snake, but that in itself isn't so bad vs. the cost of buying 24 RCA cables to make the 3 connections (unless you're already drowning in them). And those industrial DB25 switchers are built like a tank and will pretty much last forever.
