that's a old version of the alpha pal6035 the new version is better and has a copper bottom for better heat transfer take a look here pal6035

shouldn't the old pal6035 and the new pal6035 have a different part number?

I guess they don't. The only difference is one has a copper plate embedded into the heat sink and the other one doesn't.

Probably a few degres. What is this for anyways? Are you thinking of buy this or something, if you do you will probably get the new alpha since it's been a while since they made the one without the copper in it.

To the best of my knowledge, all pal6035s have copper embedded in them. THe older heatsink was the PFH6035.

Newer Pal's come with removable feet for fc-p3s, and have a higher pressure clip.
