Quite a while back I had an FPS game on the PC which I spent countless hours playing. I wondered if any of you can say what it was called if I describe what I can remember?
It was a 3D game and this one level which stands out in my memory was capture the flag and the play area was divided into two halves by a large iron bridge. The enemy if I recall correctly were aliens and came at you on foot, with tanks and various flying vehicles.
Your 'team' would automatically head off to get the flag (even without you) and you would have to support them while they grab the flag from one of the enemy buildings and head off back over the bridge to your home building - or you could stay behind and defend your base.
You could jump in any of the vehicles or stay on foot.
I particularly remember going down a narrow alley behind my base's buildings to a spot overlooking the ravine the bridge ran across and spending hours sniping aliens as they ran over the bridge. Other times I'd fly up to the ledges at the top of the bridge and sniping down at the aliens as they headed across the bridge to my side.
You could also go down the slope and under the bridge and there would be weapons, ammo and power-ups you could grab as well as enemy hovercraft-type vehicles you would have to keep out of the way of.
While this is all happening, the NPC was trying to nick your flag.
Anyone else remember what this game might have been please?
I can't for the life of me remember any of the other levels at all...
