Basically, it hangs at the boot screen, or boots, goes to a black screen, and stops. Its driving me nuts. rebooting should not take like 10 minutes. if nothing works, ill try to reinstall windows (doubt itd work) and if that doesnt, ill RMA. I flashed it too.

Also, sometimes itll hang at the boot screen, and go to a screen saying that its detecting nvidia RAID array 4.56, which i DONT have. its disabled in the BIOS too. WTF?!!? Thanks

I'm not about to subscribe to this IGN thing in order to read your post there! I'm not the one that's most likely to solve your problem anyway, but why don't you post more specifics?
 
im sorry, didnt know you needed a subcription. i basically posted here what i did there, but here it is

"Now this problem IS driving me nuts...its getting worse and worse.

anyway, my computer hangs at usually the bios bootup screen (nforce3 250gb logo) or it gets past it and then freezes, or starts loading windows then freezes. it takes like... (sometimes) 5-10 restarts for a successful reboot lol

however, sometimes after it freezes on the bios logo, it goes one more screen and then restarts. the screen it goes to says "nvidia RAID array 4.56 (or something" and 'detecting RAID array...'

I think this may be the problem. Why does it say this if i dont even use RAID, can i uninstall the RAID drivers or anything?

I think you should post your full system specs-- that's the first thing that experts like mechBgon usually ask for (including especially drive setup, please). I'm assuming this is not a new build, that you had a working install of Windows, etc. Did you recently install any software? Can you boot into safe mode?

Actually, this computer is no more than 3 months old. And its been happening since the first day, but has been getting worse. i can boot into safe mode, but forgot my administrator pass ( 🙁 ). So i can boot into safe mode but not as admin.
 
You can attempt to disable the RAID controller if you can access your BIOS. I dont know if that's the problem though.
