4 of those super-compressed low-quality washrags that you drop in water and they expand and they usually come in a little plastic wrapper and have some sort of logo printed on them and in this case are for some reason in hermetically sealed foil-wrapped packaging.

Wow, that's amazing. I just thought the texture looked like cloth, but I couldn't imagine why you'd have them sealed up like pills. What the hell are they for? I suppose that'd be the best way to transport them when you're low on space, like sending them to the space station or on the shuttle, or if you're carrying cargo into the jungle.

Size of a can of tuna I think.

Depends on how big the towel is. A normal size wash cloth can fit in a packet about 1.5 inch square and 1/2 inch thick . Something like a full size towel would be about the tuna can size (hotel towel of course, not a plush one).

Maybe this is in fact how hotels get their towels new. It'd certainly be an effective way to store plenty of spares, if you just had to unpeel one, soak it, and dry it.

Well the ones my sister got were like...small face towels (about 10x10inches) and they were maybe 1x1x1inch cube when compressed. I was thinking the ones in the pic were full sized towels, which would make them about the tuna can size.
