Can anyone explain my low 3dMark 2001 scores?

There are lots or reasons that can cause that...
Latest 4 in 1?
Latest AGP drivers?
Latest BIOS?
Did you install the 23.12 drivers currectly?

Keep in mind that 3DMark2001 is not god! If you get nice results in games, then live with it.
On the other hand, you have a nice rig. You should get to the 82xx in 3Dmark2001.....

Wow aircasper, that's impressive. I'd say you need a new video card. Hehe... Heck, if you put a GF2 MX in there for around $50, you'd see a HUGE improvement in game framerates. Of course, if you don't play games, don't worry about it. My p2-350 with GF2MX got about 1400 in 3DMark, not that it's real world, but you could expect at least that performance, which is fine for most current games at moderately decent settings. Also, it's not that he's complaining, it's that something in his system is not running how it should. While in todays apps and games, he wouldn't notice it at all, in the future, there could be games that will slow down considerably if the vertex shader isn't working right, and he'd be left with a slow system, even though it should still be fast. *breath*. Anyway, that's the story. 🙂
