Can anyone comment on these CD-Rs??

i have silver/silver imations and they work very well. but i stay away from generic cdr's cuz you never know what kind of quality they are. not all cdr's are made equally. there are reasons why some 50 pack cdr's sell for $20 and others for $7. but if you have a good burner, it shouldn't make a difference in burning.

I agree with Whitelight. OEMs don't really manufacture their own discs. If you order some Imation CDs, you may be blessed with a load of discs manufactured by Taiyo Yuden, whom is one of the best CDR manufacturers. TDK can also fool you and give you Ritek discs, though, so be careful. Read up about it all at CD Media World.

I really don't think the color of cd surface can be some quality measure nowadays
I rather buy cheap brand-names than some generics
If you look Hot-deal section, you will find very good price
There is good deal of 100 Imation as $15 at Bestbuy.

<< OEMs don't really manufacture their own discs. >>

oem = original equipment manufacturer

THEY MAKE THEIR OWN...

what you mean to say is that the company on the label don't necessarily make their own equipment.
