Just curious. Yes I have the latest Java installed.

The java icon comes up but never loads the game. Works fine in Internet Explorer 🙁

What are some possible things I can check? I am using the latest moox firefox build 11-5 and the latest java download.

Hmm...1st level tech support answer:

Try uinstsll/reinstalling Java from Sun. Make sure you can select FireFox and IE during the install.

2nd: Why do you have to use FireFox for yahoo games again? I use both IE and firefox for different purposes.

but then again, i'm just a newbie

Hmm, Yahoo games is working for me on Firefox.
When you say the java icon comes up, what kind of icon are you referring to? My window will say it's starting the java applet, but I remember that before java was installed I would get a puzzle-piece where the applet should be. Is that what you're seeing? If so, something went awry with java, either in the download, installation, or binding it to Firefox.

The icon on XP's task bar (the little coffee cup) - starts - the screen is blank then, it is not for lack of waiting - I am on 1.5 down dsl, and I waited for over 5 minutes. It just blanks out (the browser screen). I know it is trying to invoke JAVA because of the icon on the deskbar. I uninstalled Java, reinstalled. No dice. . .

Hmmmmm . . .

Why do I have to use Firefox, well I don't - but - hey if I could I'd like to.

I also cannot access Yahoo games, I am also using a MOOX M2 build of firefox as well. Could MOOX be the problem? I even got my system to crash and start the reporting agent, by exiting from a second window that I had opened. It seems like FF consumes 100% cpu and becomes (more or less) unresponsive.
