The corruption things I can see releasing. However, the guy lost all credibility with me when he released critical areas around the world vital to the functioning of the US. At that point, I think anyone that dies from a terrorist attack at one of those sites should be blamed on him. :|

Why's that? Anyone that puts in the smallest amount of thought will know where the strategic locations are. None of that should be any great news to someone who cared to analyze the situation.

This, people are really making a big deal out of this leak. It was common knowledge that I'm sure terrorist already know, or could figure out very easily. People are making it seem like we are doomed because of this. Terrorists have intelligence specialists too, they already have this info.

I can't wait for wikileaks to fuck with a country that just doesn't give a shit about its reputation. Like Israel for example. Israel slaughters silly Palestinians like cattle, and no one does anything about it because they know Israel would fuck them up to. lol. That's why shit like these recent leaks keep happening to the US. Everyone knows we are governed by liberal pussies who gladly bend over and take it up the ass for anyone willing to give it to us. It's pathetic that the leadership of a once great nation has fallen so far. Everyone knows this.

Wow, I COMPLETELY agree with you on this. Assnage and his supporters sould be dealt with decisively.

We don't have much to worry about the best they could come up with in the 9 years since 9/11 was some patsy that burned his sack off on a plane and some tard whose idea of a time bomb was 10 gallons of gasoline, propane tanks and an alarm clock in a van. They aren't very sophisticated, smart, resourceful. They live in caves and wear mismatched shoes and dirty second and third hand clothes that we throw away.

It would be very interesting to see what would happen if Wikileaks was preparing to leak documents that could compromise Mossad.....

Anyone who thinks the best solution to Wikileaks is censorship must be braindead. I mean really, think about that for a second.

Yes! It would take 24 hours and there would be a small flash in the room with the founder in it. Problem solved.

They just released a list of military bases in afghanistan that are most susceptible to attack.

Dangerous.

Yea, because nobody on the scene knew that. I'm pretty sure the Iraqis are well aware of the various vulnerabilities of the foreign invader's bases.

Shoving it in their face is not helping anyone, knowledge is power, so giving the wrong people knowledge/ power is retarded.

The right people are the Americans, so we can all see how our morally corrupt, bankrupt government is squandering our money, and the lives of soldiers who's real duty is to protect the USA, not run around the world policing sovereign nations, and supporting corporate interests.

I don't understand where people think that all information is good information. Secrets are kept for a reason. For safety, for a million other reasons.

There are certain things, say the corruption of a member of congress or the head of a corporation, that sort of transparency is fine. However, releasing information which may have huge consequences on a number of fronts detrimental to millions of people, how is that the best thing?

Sometimes a secret is best kept a secret. Transparency is a wonderful idea, but in the real world where we all live, it's best that some things remain in the dark.

Not to mention, he is essentially BLACKMAILING much of the world not to arrest him or shut down wikileaks with his "insurance" file. I thought blackmail was a no-no?

Nooo, Assange is a hero, exposing the evil, people-hating governments that have ruled the world for too long! Long Reign Anarchy! /sarcasm

I don't really get this point. I'm fine with you knowing how your government fucks up, but not at the cost of peoples safety.

The DNS companies censor numerous websites.
Freedom of speech does not apply in many cases.
Obscene material is one example.

DNS companies can provide service to whoever they want.
